This subject functions as a capstone to the sub-majors. In an experiential learning situation, students are given the opportunity to apply theoretical principles and clinical skills with clients in various contexts of care – acute adult medical-surgical, mental health or paediatrics. Students practise nursing under the guidance of a registered nurse from the clinical facility and provide continuity patient/client care.
