Provides an understanding of the matters encompassed by industrial law. The common law and subsequent statute law relating to employer and employee are discussed, and an understanding of the legal regulation of the working conditions and pay of Australian employees at both the federal and State levels is developed. The parameters of industrial law, and the employeremployee relationship in both the individual and collective aspect, are analysed in depth.
