The Honours Thesis requires the student to produce a thesis based on an original problem of a theoretical or applied nature. The thesis is expected to demonstrate the student's competency to conceptualise, conduct and present research in a scholarly and independent manner. This is the Spring semester course of the year-long subject. The same grade will be awarded to this subject and 25230 Thesis in Mathematics and Finance (Hons) 1, its Autumn semester counterpart.
