Course aims

Through the structure of the course, students are able to gain the knowledge, skills and understandings required for special clinical practice by applying the aims and objectives of the subjects 92928 Clinical Practice 1 and 92929 Clinical Practice 2 to each specialty area of nursing. The clinical practice subjects provide a framework for the implementation and tailoring of each specialty practice subject area to ensure a specialty focus but consistent overall standards and outcomes.

Course duration

This course is offered on a one-year, part-time basis.

Course structure

Students must complete a total of 24 credit points:

• Two specified clinical practice subjects
• One specified clinical studies subject
• One research subject.
