Admission requirements

To gain entry to this course an applicant must demonstrate a very strong level of education, background and capability. It is expected that applicants will have one of the following: an Honours degree; a Bachelor's degree with significant relevant work experience; or a Graduate Diploma in Information Management or a Graduate Diploma in Knowledge Management. It is expected that all applicants will have demonstrated a high level of interest in, and some knowledge of, information and knowledge practices.

Course duration

This course is offered over three semesters full time or equivalent part time.

Course structure

Students who are admitted to the Master of Arts in Information and Knowledge Management normally complete five compulsory subjects and three elective subjects. Students may choose subjects beyond the specified list with the approval of the Graduate Course Adviser.

This course requires completion of between 70 and 72 credit points, depending on subject choice.
