PELS is an income-contingent loan facility similar to the Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS) for eligible students enrolled in fee-paying postgraduate non-research courses.

Students are required to complete a Loan Request form by the census date each semester. Students also have to provide their Tax File Number to UTS. This form is available from the UTS Student Info & Admin Centre.
