Three. Northeast Quadrant has been successful for 15 years now. VentureKnowledge.com is in its second year. We closed a third company after four years of operation.
What is the elevator pitch for your company?
VentureKnowledge.com connects pre-qualified professionals with employers looking for experienced contractors, consultants and interim managers.
Where did the idea for your company come from?
About four years ago my business partner and I were discussing the loss of knowledge when professionals are made redundant or leave employers. We figured there had to be a way for employers to retain access to knowledge and to allow professionals to share their knowledge.
How did you meet your co-founder?
We were senior executives together in a company 10 years before.
What is the biggest challenge facing you and your company at the moment?
We have hundreds of thousands of potential clients (employer organisations). The challenge is reaching all of them to create trial and use.
Has anyone in particular influenced your philosophy on how to run your business?
My previous corporate experience at Procter & Gamble - doing the right thing.
