Patricia is a Lecturer in the School of International Studies. She completed a BA in Certified Translation in the Faculty of Law, University of Buenos Aires and an MA at UTS. Before becoming an academic, she worked as a certified translator in Argentina. Her areas of interest include intercultural communication, discourse analysis, body language and multimodality in the construction of disciplinary knowledge. Her present area of research is an action research project which aims to develop L2 Spanish students' speaking skills and intercultural awareness.
