As event manager for the International Centre for Youth Futures, Nicola is responsible for the facilitation and content of its education programs. Passionate about creative learning for all ages she is a trained teacher specialising in using drama as a pedagogical tool. Her experience includes wide-ranging international work as theatre practitioner and culture programmer with extensive knowledge in delivering events across art and education organisations. Her PhD, completed in 2013, analysed theatre for young audiences as an aesthetic art form. Her research interests include theatre theory; children’s participation in the arts; drama as a pedagogy. Outside of her role in the centre Nicola works with families, communities and production companies in capacities of stage manager and celebrant.
