Denise's professional business experience is vast, spanning over 10 years in the University sector with central research office and research centre experience, University IT services and finance systems analysis within defence subcontracting organisations and in private legal practice.
With well developed business skills complemented by a Bachelor of Accounting, Diplomas in Business Administration and Commerce, Denise is readily able to develop compelling proposals, provide budgeting advice and pipeline development appropriate to your research funding needs.
Denise's area of focus includes supporting the newly established Faculty of Transdiciplinary Innovation in developing and implementing research strategy in the Faculty through the management of Faculty research operations, including project management, reporting and analytical support, strategic research communications, managing key research relationship and providing high level advice on policy and strategy.
Denise's prior positions included successful central proposal development and post award management of National and International parnership schemes including AusIndustry Innovation Connections, Global Innovation Linkage, Bridging Grant programme, NSW DOI TechVouchers and Building Partnerships grants. Denise's proposal development experience also includes category 1 ARC Discovery Project and ARC Future Fellowships and various other schemes appropriate to UTS researchers and industry partners.
