Annie has had a long career in education, starting in Hawaii and California, teaching across K-12 in Canberra, Sydney and the lower Blue Mountains, holding positions of leadership, including education technology director, head of literacy, numeracy and diverse learning and relieving principal.
She worked for Apple leading the Apple Distinguished Educator Program across Australia and New Zealand for several years and was an education panel member for the NMC Horizon report, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Annie speaks frequently at international and national conferences and seminars, with a focus on integrating technologies and learning authentically in the classroom.
She now teaches in the teacher education programs at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and is a doctoral candidate, researching the use of mobile technology by tweens.
