© 2019 NADIA. This research is focused on the development of a state of art food recommendation system web platform for seniors with physical disability. The recommendation of food items is important for many reasons. Researchers have been studying these kinds of systems for many years, suggesting not only that can they be a means to help people find food they might want to eat, but also help them nourish themselves more healthily and avoids intolerances and food allergies. This paper created an ontology based Canada food allergies and intolerances databases 1 to guide the recommender according to the personalized information provided by the elder. The recommender incorporates other useful features such as the selections of different food items, their description and a peer to peer food delivery service. The delivery service is an added-value feature to connect seniors with the nearby couriers or online suppliers who are able to purchase the recommended items from stores and deliver it to the senior's home.
