RICS Property Economics Prize

The RICS Property Economics Prize is funded by RICS to encourage academic excellence in the Bachelor of Property Economics course. The prize consists of $500 towards RICS membership.

In the case of joint winners, each Recipient will receive $500 towards RICS membership.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for the Prize, a student must:

  • Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Property Economics course (C10007 or C10310) or the Bachelor of Property Economics Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (C10011 or C10320) as per the table in the Conditions of Award; and
  • Have succesfuly completed the subject 16345 Property Trusts and Funds or 16677 Property Investment Vehicles (elective subject), in the relevant academic year for which the award is made.

Selection process

The Prize will be awarded to the student who has obtained the highest mark in the subject 16345 Property Trusts and Funds or 16677 Property Investment Vehicles (elective subject).

Where two (2) or more students achieve the highest mark in subject 16345 Property Trusts and Funds or 16677 Property Investment Vehicles (elective subject), the student (1) or two (2) students with the highest overall GPA in their course will be awarded the Prize.
