Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarships
The Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarships enable students to study overseas, promoting cultural exchange and deepening relations between Australia and China. Commencing in 2014, the scholarships will offer UTS students exciting opportunities in China, while students at UTS's Key Technology Partner universities in China will have the opportunity to study in Australia.
The scholarships build on the already rich and diverse collaborations UTS has with China.

The Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarship program is made possible with the generous support of Australian Chinese businessman Dr Chau Chak Wing. In 2010, Dr Chau donated a generous gift of $25 million to UTS. Of the gift, $20 million is towards the construction of the Frank Gehry-designed Dr Chau Chak Wing Business School and $5 million is towards an endowment fund to support the Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarships.
Dr Chau Scholars Network Recipients of the Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarships become alumni members of the prestigious Dr Chau Scholars Network, a dynamic and influential group of future leaders who help to foster relationships and educational outcomes between UTS and China. The Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarships provide opportunities for:
- BUiLD Travel Grants give undergraduate UTS students enrolled in the UTS leadership program BUiLD the opportunity to undertake short-term programs in China.
- Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarship ( Exchange & Study Abroad) gives UTS postgraduate students the opportunity to undertake one semester of study at a university in China.
- Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarship (SILC Pathway) assists students enrolled in the UTS Bachelor of Business in Shanghai to undertake a semester of study at UTS as part of their degree.
- Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarship (KTP Master Degree) provides full fee scholarships and living stipends to Chinese students enrolled at UTS's Key Technology Partner universities in China to undertake a master's coursework degree at UTS in Sydney.
The Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarship (Kingold Group) is available to employees of Kingold Group Companies Ltd to undertake a master degree by coursework at UTS in Sydney.
