Overview

The purpose of the prize is to recognise and encourage the achievements of high-performing UTS Master of Pharmacy students in the area of professional services.

Please read the Conditions of Award for full details about this Prize.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for this Scholarship, Recipients must:

  • Be enrolled in the UTS Master of Pharmacy (Coursework); and
  • Have successfully completed:
    • Professional Services 1 (96004) (first year student) or
    • Professional Services 3 (96009) (second year student)
  • In the session immediately prior to award of the Prize; and
  • Be enrolled in:
    • Professional Services 2 (96005) (first year student) or
    • Professional Services 4 (96012) (second year student)
  • At the time of award.

Selection process

Applicants are selected based on:

  • The first year Prize will be awarded to the student who has received the highest cumulative mark in the subjects Professional Services 1 (96004) and Professional Services 2 (96005) at the time of award of the Prize.
  • In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest final mark, the following criteria will be considered:
    • Highest overall mark in Professional Services 1 (96004)
    • Overall academic performance in the student’s award course, including GPA, whether the student has failed other subjects, received academic cautions or had a finding of misconduct made against them.
  • The second year Prize will be awarded to the student who has received the highest cumulative mark in the subjects Professional Services 3 (96009) and Professional Services 4 (96012) at the time of award of the Prize.
  • In the event that two or more eligible students have the same highest final mark, the following criteria will be considered:
    • Highest overall mark in Professional Services 3 (96009)
    • Overall academic performance in the student’s award course, including GPA, whether the student has failed other subjects, received academic cautions or had a finding of misconduct made against them.
