STEM Education Futures Research Centre: Symposium and launch
The STEM Education Futures Research Centre at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), University of Technology Sydney produces high-quality research to answer the question: How can we best enhance STEM capacity and capability in Australia?
The Centre was officially launched on Friday 23 February 2018 with a full-day symposium with highlights including:
- Keynote speeches from visiting academics Professor Kevin Burden (University of Hull, UK) and Associate Professor Ruurd Taconis (Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands)
- An exciting debate session to provoke thinking on STEM
- A panel discussion focusing on STEM education futures
- Inspiring school displays and presentation on STEM.
