UTS Distinguished Visiting Scholars Scheme
The DVS Scheme was established in 2010 under a previous research strategy, to provide support for esteemed international researchers to collaborate with UTS scholars on a short-term honorary appointment. As part of UTS 2027, the office of the DVC (Research) is reviewing its approach to supporting international research.
The DVS scheme in its current form has been discontinued, but all 2019 visits that have previously been approved will continue to be supported.
Past DVS recipients
Since the Scheme’s inception in 2010, the DVC (Research) has invested more than $1.3million towards the support for international collaboration, and supported over 160 distinguished international scholars to collaborate on a host of activities including research collaboration, HDR supervision, mentoring of early career researchers, joint grant applications and delivery of public lectures and seminars.
