Please note this is not an intern clinic. Our clinical psychologists are highly qualified and experienced practitioners.
We are currently taking referrals for individual therapy for children, teenagers and adults experiencing a wide range of problems.
The General Psychology Clinic at The Kidman Centre UTS offers individual therapy. Our warm and caring clinical psychologists have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults and understand the unique needs of each of these groups. They can assist with:
- adjustment to change
- work-related stress
- postnatal depression
- self esteem
- eating disorders
- anger management
- stress management
- behaviour problems
- HSC and school-related stress
- other psychological or emotional issues.
The costs associated with individual therapy are well below that of the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee of $228 per session. You may be eligible for a mental health care plan from the GP which enables a Medicare rebate for each session.
We offer bulk billing to clients experiencing lower incomes or financial stress.
We also deliver group therapy for adolescents both at the Centre and in schools. Groups include Taking charge for anxiety and depression, HSC stress management, School does not equal stress, cyber and indirect bullying, amongst others.
