Enhancing Local Government Service Delivery
As part of the Local Government Climate Change Mentor initiative, 31 senior staff of councils from across Victoria received scholarships offered by the Victorian Government to attend the Enhanced Local Government Service Delivery training program.
Delivery of services in local government is shifting. More than ever, councils are looking for ways to ensure the services they provide are relevant to their communities, and are financially sustainable.
Learn tools to consider the future of service delivery and better meet these challenges, and build understanding and skills in reviewing and transforming service delivery.
The course also explores various service delivery models, including shared services, commercial and community enterprises, arm’s length entities, and public-private partnerships and is delivered through a combination of presentations, facilitated discussions and group workshops.
