The Complex Systems Modelling and Simulation Lab is focused on modelling and simulation of large-scale scenarios requiring the application of the latest theories and advanced science in complex, nonlinear systems – those with interconnected components often characterised by their emergent properties. Examples of complex systems include telecommunication systems, transportation and logistics systems, satellite communication systems, the international economy, an ecological system, an endocrine system, a sensor network, a fractal antenna or a biological stem cell.
