Teaching and training
The Biologics Innovation Facility (BIF) offers teaching and training to technicians, engineers, and scientists looking to advance their skills and knowledge in bioprocessing. The flexible design of this facility allows BIF to provide a holistic training experience.
Training courses allow participants to actively apply their knowledge in hands-on lab and pilot-scale experiments with a focus on the emerging trend of single-use technology in biologics manufacturing.
BIF is the only education and training institute in Australasia to deliver the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) curriculum, in combination with hands-on practical experiences. This offers a unique opportunity for students and biotech companies to upskill their future workforce. All training courses will be delivered at the University of Technology in Sydney.
The National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) is a global centre of excellence for training and research in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. NIBRT is located in a world class facility in Dublin, Ireland. This facility is purpose built to closely replicate a modern bioprocessing plant with state-of-the-art equipment and enables NIBRT to offer the highest quality training and research solutions. NIBRT’s mission is to support the growth and development of all aspects of the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
