About us
The Centre for Compassionate Conservation, at the University of Technology, Sydney, is the leading research and education centre of the interdisciplinary field of compassionate conservation. We conduct research around the world, including Australia, South Africa, USA, Middle East, and Asia, to develop compassionate approaches to conservation challenges. We focus on critical conservation challenges such as stemming extinction, resolving human-wildlife conflict, ending wildlife trade, enhancing the welfare of wild animals, and promoting coexistence.
