Our approach embraces the UTS model of problem-solving, and applied research. We collaborate with industry, government and civil society organisations to leverage our research capability in context and produce tangible results for our partners.
We work with our partners following different collaborative models that can include:
Fundamental research, where we explore a topic for the benefit of our partners, based on quantitative and/or qualitative methods. This can lead to joint reports to maximise impact.
Research action, where researchers intervene on concrete questions of our partners. Our team includes former consultants and adjunct professors who conduct research action that meshes academic rigor with practical results.
Workshops and interventions that are practice-oriented and aim at jointly solving complex issues. These are informed by design practices and other techniques to deliver business model innovation.
