The Centre for Business & Social Innovation (CBSI) is a UTS centre conducting world-class cross-faculty and cross-discipline research that directly informs our workshop and courses. These are conducted by leading academics in conjunction with professional experts.
Self-Leadership Lab takes managers and executives through a four-stage reflection process that leads to a concrete personal development plan. This course is unique in offering a sustained approach rather than a quick fix, to foster leadership potential for the joint benefit of participants and their organisations. There is a focus on equipping individuals with skills for continued self-development to facilitate the handling of everyday business challenges. The format blends self-diagnostic, self-learning and group and individual coaching sessions. The course relies on CBSI members’ cutting edge research in leadership. We currently run a series of high profile research projects on leadership that directly inform our workshops. For instance, CBSI is working in close partnership with Melbourne University on three innovative leadership projects, including the development of the LeaderShift Capability Framework, a component of LeaderShift, the online tool for assessing and improving your leadership skills.
