Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) stereoscopic display provides more natural and immersive visual effect which wins tremendous attention current years. However, the lack of 3D content is becoming the bottleneck of 3D video technology. In 3D video content generation, depth information act as a key role. In this talk, we will introduce some efficient methods for depth extraction and give some typical methods of 3D content generation based on depth. At last, we will discuss the enhancement of 3D content quality.
