During the school holidays, we invite students in Years 10, 11 and 12 from our partner schools to attend a variety of one-day on campus workshops, designed to give an insight into university while developing their skills and preparing them for tertiary education.
Students can choose from a variety of topics and subject areas they want to develop. The workshops will assist them with completing their HSC, making informed career choices and improving their academic skills.
We invite all students from our U@Uni partner schools to take part in the following on-campus activities. Note that these workshops are not connected to the requirements for the U@Uni Academy.
There are also opportunities for students from our partner schools to take part in the HSC Live program, free of charge. Information will be sent to schools as it becomes available.
HSC Tutorial Scheme
We are committed to supporting students to reach their academic potential. One way we do this is through our HSC Tutorial Scheme, a free academic support program offered in a select number of our U@Uni partner schools. Note that these sessions are not connected to the requirements for the U@Uni Academy.
The HSC Tutorial Scheme program assists high school students during in-school group tutorial sessions across a range of HSC subject areas.
All sessions are facilitated by trained UTS students, known as U@Uni Ambassadors, who have demonstrated high academic achievement in the HSC and at university and have a desire to be a positive mentor for high school students.
Students can contact their school to find out if they are participating in the HSC Tutorial Scheme program. Only currently available in existing schools.
