Quiet, collaborative or quirky – find your favourite study spot
November 2016
A UTS student and still on campus after exams? Not only is your commitment admirable, you are proof that the UTS Campus Master Plan's vision for a ‘sticky’ campus is alive and kicking.
The redevelopment of Building 2 with a new UTS library and myriad other student spaces will add another layer of super-strong glue to our urban campus, giving you even more reasons to stick around. In the meantime, however, Building 2 construction work is creating a fair bit of noise and vibration for parts of UTS’s Broadway precinct, particularly during the demolition phase until March 2017.
So, where to go to find some peace and quiet? The good news is that UTS students are spoilt for choice, with an array of informal spaces away from the impact zone, and now is the ideal time to give them a second look.

Of course, all the usual student spaces in Buildings 1, 7, 10 and 11 remain open – just be prepared for intermittent noise from the Building 2 work site.
