Guy Templeton was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer, Asia, Australia-Pacific and Southern Africa operating company of WSP Australia in January 2012. WSP Australia is a global consulting, engineering and program/construction management organisation. Templeton oversees approximately 5,000 employees who work on hundreds of transportation, power, mining, water/wastewater and community development projects.

Prior to joining WSP Australia, Templeton operated his own consultancy and most recently was an advisor to WorleyParsons Ltd, a 35,000 person provider of services to the energy, resources and complex process industries, leading simplification of the company's operations.
Templeton served as Chief Executive of Minter Ellison Legal Group from 2005 to 2009. The firm has almost 300 partners and 2,350 total staff, operating from 13 offices, and is the largest law firm in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Minter Ellison, Templeton worked with PA Consulting Group for 14 years, where he was one of ten global managing partners in this 3,500 person firm. He was based in Hong Kong for eight of those years. Templeton ran PA's global Telecommunications & Media practice then had joint worldwide responsibility for the firm's other private sector and strategy practices.
He has consulted to organisations in over 20 countries on performance improvement, strategy, marketing, international expansion, regulation and technology.
Prior to consulting, Templeton held a variety of management, marketing and engineering roles in the transport, telecommunications and electricity industries.
Templeton is a member of the Advisory Council of the Australian School of Business (UNSW), Chairman of Ravenswood School for Girls and an Adjunct Professor at UTS Business School. He is a past member of the Business Council of Australia and director of for-profit and not-for-profit organisations. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
