Centre for Management and Organisation Studies Launches Negotiation Course
By the end of the program, participants can expect to:
Have developed a healthy negotiation mindset that can enable and unlock more desirable and valuable negotiation outcomes.
Have a clearer understanding of what goes on behind the scenes during the negotiation, and experience greater influence over the process and the outcomes of the negotiations.
Feel more comfortable and confident in planning and engaging in both cooperative and competitive negotiations.
Be more skilled in building rapport, trust, agreement and strong relationships.
Anticipate, manage and even prevent many of the behaviours (in ourselves and in others) that often pollute the process and take negotiations off track.
Be skilled at “power steering” in an ethical, inclusive and effective way – negotiating outcomes that are different from initial positions requires getting others to do what they do not initially want to do – this involves the exercise of power.
