What makes the UTS experience distinctive?

This initiative is about leveraging the unique qualities of UTS to add even more value for our stakeholders and communities. We'll do this in many ways, building on our proud history of excellence in research and education with every turn.  Weaving through this is technology: how we create it and how we use it responsibly to better society.

Other key areas we're focusing on include industry connections, our lifetime of learning approach and building a connected community of global citizens. At the core of all of this is focus around how UTS colleagues work together with a shared commitment to social justice and impact that is truly distinctive.

By 2024 we will be

  • in high demand by students and learners seeking a high quality,  transformational education experience that meets their needs and circumstances

  • a partner of choice for business, government and industry for knowledge transfer and intellectual property creation

  • recognised for our positive social and environmental impact and commitment to technology that improves society, the planet and the professions

  • recognised for skilling and upskilling students for careers of the future in Australia and overseas

  • recognised for our collaborative culture and supportive working environment

  • known for our capability in innovation, transdisciplinarity and entrepreneurship

  • recognised as a key driver of a vibrant Tech Central innovation precinct surrounding our campus

  • recognised as leaders in Indigenous education and research.
