The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology delivers our postgraduate Engineering Management program to offshore students through our partner, the Sydney Institute of Language and Commerce (SILC), Shanghai University.
The UTS Master of Engineering Management is an opportunity for engineers, technical specialists, and non-technical professionals to build and stretch their managerial skills and integrate their business and technical knowledge. Students study in Chinese (Mandarin).
The degree is awarded by UTS and carries equivalent academic status and recognition to our master's degrees offered in Sydney.
Mode of study
The course is designed to emphasise the interface between engineering, technology and management. The integration of carefully tailored coursework and an independent project delivers graduates who understand the professional, societal and environmental context and have developed a range of management and engineering capabilities to respond.
The course structure is made up of a set of core subjects that are delivered through a combination of block mode learning supplemented by tutorials, self-directed study and a pre-examination workshop. The intensive block mode seminars will be held over two weekends throughout the teaching session and delivered by both UTS and SILC academic staff members.
