You’re young and bright. And so are we.
Like you, we’re adaptive. We’re resourceful and technology-driven. Our youth makes us curious. But youth hasn’t limited our success.
We’re Australia’s No.1 ranked university under 50 years old, and No.11 in the world^. We’ve also joined the world’s research elite: now in the top 200 universities in the world*.
Launch your ideas
We’re nurturing the next generation of startups. In fact, we have Australia’s largest community of student launched start-ups. That translates to 160+ startups within the UTS community. And we’re not done yet.
By 2023 we plan to reach 50% of our students with entrepreneurial experiences through industry opportunities and co-curricular programs. Equipping students with the tools to become entrepreneurs will be critical to success.
Start your career. Long before you graduate.
We’re creating course content and industry opportunities to ready you for the future. Partnerships with industry and the success of our graduates in the workforce are key measures of our success. We’re rated as the most industry-focused university in Sydney for over eight consecutive years by NSW business leaders and government**.
For you, this means becoming part of 82% of students who undertake an internship (or similar experience) during their degree and a future-focused curriculum that is delivered by industry-proven lecturers.
Be one of the employable
Recent stats proved that 97.2% of students found full-time work within 3 years of graduating***. Can’t argue with stats.
Gain inspiration not only from a community of talented academics and peers, but also from 40% of Australia’s tech start-ups on our doorstep.
Not to mention, we’re located in the heart of Sydney. Think Darling Harbour for your lunch break; a short bus ride to work in Sydney’s business district; and the centre of the technology and innovation precinct.
Bye, Sydney. Hello, world.
Internationalise your degree. Study abroad for one year with the combined Bachelor of International Studies degree.
If studying abroad for one year isn’t your thing, there are options for every student. Learn a language with the Diploma in Languages; travel the world with UTS Exchange; gain credit by volunteering in developing communities, or take part in summer and winter schools abroad.
We send 1 in 4 students on an international experience every year to build their leadership skills in both local and global environments.
