A graduate entry masters (GEM) is an intensive program focused on producing graduates that are work ready and eligible for registration as health professionals. At the Graduate School of Health we offer a range of innovative graduate entry masters programs, most of which require you to have a previous health/science related undergraduate degree.

Accelerated learning
Students undertake specific coursework relating to their chosen health profession, following the completion of a related undergraduate degree. Building on the foundation of science or biomedical study, GEM courses in health focus on professional practice, problem-based learning and extensive clinical placements. Coursework is developed with input and advice from industry advisors, offering real-world experience and preparing candidates for their future health careers.
Professional pathway
GEM courses provide a pathway to professional recognition or registration in Australia. Following clinical placements and internships, Pharmacy, Orthoptics and Clinical Psychology students are prepared for registration by the relevant authorising body.
