The collaboration between Animal Logic and UTS - they're both big brands and both big innovators in their fields. They're both firm believers that industry should lead education. We love to have the door open for industry professionals so when they come in and they see the studio, they are really surprised by it. "Oh my God. This is a real studio." And the vibe, the the work we do, the way we do it, which of course, again, echoes exactly what our goal is and what our mission is, is to simulate a real world environment.
We are in fact a startup studio, and running like a studio, so our young artists are ready for the real world when they come out the other end. We are all about talent. You can be a high school student and have super talent, and we'll find a way to fit you in. We have fine arts students who haven't touched a 3D application yet, finalizing in lighting and compositing shots at a feature film level.
We also have coders. So if you're a computer scientist or you have an IT background, and you love coding, we welcome that with open arms too because this program is created to fuel and foster Australian talent in the VFX industry. So, by having talent come out and be ready, A) they can walk straight into jobs; but B), what I would love to see is seeing them be pioneers and creating jobs.
We're breaking down the walls and mixing all disciplines together, and that's really what ties Animal again back to UTS. It's about innovation, collaboration, and really unleashing potential and pushing boundaries.
