Basically, his research interests are in the field of consumer behavior and organizational strategic decision making process with special focus on the following areas:
- Ethical marketing practices
- Consumer psychology
- Customer satisfaction
- Branding and advertising
- Service marketing
- Marketing strategy
Past experiences and academic background:
Aristus is presently a PhD candidate in Marketing at the UTS Business School. He holds a master’s degree (M.Sc.) and bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in marketing from the University of Nigeria, (UNN) in 2018 and 2012 respectively. He also received an award as the best graduating student of the department of Marketing; UNN; in 2012.
His current research focuses on the drivers of green purchase intentions among women with keen interest on fast moving consumer goods. The research is anchored on established marketing theories and methods with the aims of deepening the theoretical base in this area and unraveling more determinants of consumers green purchase intentions. This will in turn enable firms to develop suitable green marketing strategies in order to enhance customers’ and societal wellbeing at profit
Prior to joining UTS Business School, Aristus has held key management positions in leading fast moving consumer goods (FMCG’s) firms and academic institutions in Nigeria. His 7+ years of experience spans sales, marketing, and teaching roles. He has also occupied several leadership positions in youth-based organizations for development in Nigeria.
