Yanlin Chen is currently carrying out her PhD in Economics at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. Before joining UTS Yanlin received her bachelor degree from Zhejiang University in China, majoring in International Economics and minoring in Design and Innovation Program in Chu Kechen College.
Yanlin’s recent research interest is Applied Microeconomic Theory and Information Disclosure in particular. Her recent research topic is Bayesian Persuasion with private information in selling problems. In February 2017, Yanlin presented at the Australasian Economic Theory Workshop held in Auckland with the paper: Bayesian Persuasion and Pricing Strategies by an Informed Seller which is co-authored with Associate Professor Jun Zhang.
