The Master of Management is about taking organisations into the future. This course is for experienced business professionals who are ready for senior management roles. You’ll build advanced management skills and the ability to lead teams and organisations through challenging business landscapes – a critical skill in a sector that’s constantly changing. You’ll also develop a conceptual framework to identify and resolve complex business issues.
Core subjects explore issues of leadership, strategic decisionmaking, coaching and mentoring, contemporary business structures, systems and practices, change management, managing the value chain, developing sustainable work systems and understanding the political dynamics of business and organisational environments.
Master of Human Resource Management
Get the most of out your organisation’s human capital with a Master of Human Resources Management (HRM). You’ll build conceptual and practical knowledge of HRM in complex and unfamiliar work environments, and learn to facilitate management decision-making in both Australian and international employment relations contexts. Stay on top of your game with specialised knowledge of the strategies, policies and processes that underpin effective HRM, and engage with specialist lecturers who’ll help you critically explore alternative HRM models and strategies.
Master of Strategic Supply Chain Management
New technologies, information systems and management approaches are disrupting traditional supply chain processes, making highly qualified supply chain professionals are more in demand than ever. This degree builds value chain management skills and an understanding of the supply chain in a broader organisational context. Study fundamental business processes (management, project management, procurement) and specialist subjects (supply chain complexity, logistics, network design) and gain a thorough and highly specialised business qualification.
Our masters and extension masters degrees are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). While you’re studying, you can apply to become a student CIPS member – it’s free. Then, once you’ve completed your course and three years of relevant work experience, you’ll be eligible for full CIPS membership.
