UTS Careers is dedicated to providing UTS students with accessible, timely and tailored advice, no matter where you are. As such, for now, our Drop-in appointments and Career Consultations will take place online.
Like our previous in-person appointments, these 15-minute Virtual Drop-in sessions with our Recruitment Advisors are available Monday-Friday, and can be booked online.

You can book a Virtual Drop-in session with us between 10am-12pm, or alternatively, between 1:30pm-4: 30 pm*.
* the Last Virtual Drop-in session commences at 4:15 pm.

Career action plan
The Career Action Plan is a comprehensive collation of advice and resources that can help you to navigate the career development process. Whether you are starting from scratch, or focusing on a particular step in your career progression, you can access useful resources, complete activities, and record your progress via this personalised tool.

Career consultations, resume reviews and drop-in consultations are made available to service users subject to demand, which varies at different times in the academic year. Service users will be informed of the nature, frequency and duration of service that is reasonable, based on the level of demand, staff availability, and service user needs.
The University reserves the right to take all necessary action to protect the safety of its staff, students and facilities, and to ensure reasonable use of services and facilities. This may include revoking or placing conditions on access to facilities, services, or campus precincts.
The provision of UTS Careers’ services to students includes the eligibility to express interest in a mentoring program.
Information may be loaded into a mentoring program from existing information held by our services, such as CareerHub, to email an invitation via GRID (the platform used to facilitate the mentoring program). Only individuals who meet eligibility criteria, whether invited or registering directly and agree to the privacy notice will be accepted into a mentor program. If you do not wish to be part of a mentoring program as part of the services provided by Careers, please contact Careers.
