Once you have registered for your graduation ceremony, the final step is to pay the ceremony fee.
Paying for my graduation ceremony
Once you have registered for your graduation ceremony and selected "attend" in My Student Admin you must confirm your attendance and proceed to pay for your ceremony by clicking "please pay here". Then:
- login using your UTS webmail username and password
- confirm your personal details, graduation ceremony details and payment method
- complete all the details in the checkout area
- confirm your order
- select your card for payment
- submit your card details
- you should then be able to view and print your receipt. An additional receipt will be sent to your webmail account.

I've registered, but I did not pay my ceremony fee by the closing date, what can I do?
You can apply for a Late Graduation Registration and Payment, and incur a late fee of $100 if you still wish to attend their ceremony but did not pay by the closing date. Due to venue capacity, limits are applied to ceremony attendance; and where capacity is reached, graduates may be allocated to a different ceremony from their faculty/cohort.
The Late Graduation Registration and Payment application form is available on the forms, apps and systems page after online registration has closed, from
- Saturday 28 March - Friday 3 April 2020 at 5pm for Autumn graduation, or
- Saturday 29 August - Friday 4 September 2020 at 5pm for Spring graduation
I've paid my ceremony fee but did not register to attend by the closing date, what can I do?
If you still wish to attend your ceremony but did not register by the closing date, please submit an AskUTS online enquiry. The $100 late fee will not be incured in this case. Due to venue capacity, limits are applied to ceremony attendance; and where capacity is reached, graduates may be allocated to a different ceremony from their faculty/cohort.
Can I check if my payment was received?
You will be emailed a confirmation of payment within 24 hours to your UTS webmail account. An email confirming your attendance will also be sent after registration closes. If you have not received either of these emails within the allotted time periods, please contact your Student Centre.
I don't have a credit card account, how can I make payment?
Please submit an AskUTS online enquiry so we can organise other means of payment. If you do not have a credit card, EFTPOS payment with debit card is accepted. Direct online payment to UTS or cash payments will not be accepted.
