UTS’s Global Exchange program allows you to study overseas for one or two semesters at a UTS partner university in Asia, Europe, UK or the Americas. With more than 200 partners in 38 countries and territories, it’s one of the largest international exchange programs in Australia.
Attend the UTS Business School Global Exchange Fair on Thursday August 25 to learn more.
While you are studying overseas, you remain enrolled full-time at UTS and receive credit towards your UTS degree. In most cases, you will be able to combine travel and study without adding extra time to your studies.
Global exchange is a wonderful opportunity for you to gain intercultural knowledge, skills and experience in another country.

The UTS Study Abroad program allows students enrolled at UTS to study at any recognised university or college worldwide. For Study Abroad the institution does not have to be a UTS partner. Study Abroad attracts a tuition fee based on the number of subject credit points you study at the other institution.
Opportunity for MBA students
In partnership with Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (WU), UTS Business School offers select MBA students the opportunity to complete a combined degree program. After completing the core subjects in the MBA course at UTS, students spend a year in Vienna completing the Master in Strategy, Innovation and Management Control. More information about the course structure can be found here and more information about the program are detailed here.
After successfully completing the program, participants receive two top-quality, internationally recognised degrees – the Master of Business Administration (C04018) from UTS and Master in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).
Scholarship support is available from both universities - UTS Business School and WU offer scholarships to two UTS students per year, totalling A$2000 and €4500 per student.
For more information about these international exchange opportunities, including how to apply, please contact the Global Exchange Office.
Study in English
The majority of our partner universities teach in English; therefore you are not required to speak the language of your host country. However, going on exchange is also an opportunity to learn a new language, even if you will not study in that language.
If you are learning a language other than English at UTS and wish to study in that language while on exchange, you will need to have attained UTS level 8 language proficiency before your departure.
