In July 2014 UTS Business School delivered its inaugural short-term Winter Program “Management Skills.” This highly interactive and innovative 3-week program was delivered in intensive mode. Content included lectures, group work, seminars and presentations, company visits, industry speakers and networking sessions – as well as opportunities for the overseas students to explore Sydney and surrounds.
Students from locations as diverse as Hawaii, the Netherlands, Austria, Mexico, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia joined Sydney-based Business School undergraduates in the UTS Business School’s new-style July Short Course.
The students visited Tourism Australia, the Sydney Swans Australian Football League (AFL) Club and the Sydney Roosters National Rugby League (NRL) Club – with these site visits being one of the highlights of the program. They also heard from the Australia-China Business Council about the growing importance of trade and business ties between the two countries. At an afternoon networking event students met with guests from some of UTS Business School’s key industry partners.
We have received extremely positive feedback from the students who participated in the Program, take a look at the video below to see what they had to say.
