Due to the Covid-19 situation, please be advised that the Practical Experience Committee will not be accepting hard copy forms 1 & 2. To submit your forms, please scan and email them to Law.PE@uts.edu.au whilst retaining the original document yourself. Staff will be working remotely for the foreseeable future and this inbox will be managed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. If you are seeking a conduct report, please allow a lead time of 3 weeks.
In light of the pandemic, the LPAB services have been affected and the ceremonies scheduled for 27 March 2020 were cancelled. Their next graduation ceremony is scheduled for 26 June 2020 however this too is currently under review.

Inform the Practical Experience Committee of your Practical Experience Completion
As soon as you complete an approved practical experience placement you must inform the Practical Experience Committee by submitting a Form 2 and List of Days Worked.
Form 2 - Notification of Completion of Practical Experience Placement / Supervisor's Report
Please ensure that you attach the list of actual days worked as requested (see example template below).
The completed original, hard copy of the form should be submitted, as soon as possible after the completion of a practical experience placement via the Law Reception Office or by mail to:

Submission of Reflective Journal: For students enrolled in (75411) Practical Experience from Autumn Session 2020, Reflective Journals must be submitted to Turnitin via the Practical Experience Forum on Canvas. Go to Assignments > Reflective Journal.

Statement of Practical Legal Training (PLT) completion (Dean's Certificate)
Approval of the Form 2 will be given after the next scheduled PEC meeting. Students will receive an approval email notification within a week of the PEC meeting.
A Dean's certificate will only be issued once the student is eligible to receive a complete final transcript. Practical Experience (75411) can only be recorded as complete at the conclusion of the session in which the student is enrolled in the subject.
Students will receive one complimentary transcript along with the Dean's Certificate. The Dean's Certificate and Transcript are required for LPAB applications. Students will be notified via email once the two documents are available for collection at Law Reception.
