Practical Experience is an integral part of the UTS:Law Practical Legal Training program. To best assist legal practitioners in offering placements with our students, the following information addresses the most frequently asked questions.
- Practical Experience work placements can be paid or unpaid, full-time or part-time.
- Students complete a total of 15 weeks (75 days at a maximum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) of approved Practical Experience placements.
- Students must undertake a minimum of three weeks (15 days) per placement.
- The UTS:Law Practical Experience Committee reviews all student practical experience applications and the UTS:Law Student Programs Coordinator serves as a point of contact for supervisors.
