SPRING 2020 Exams
We’ll be running alternative and supplementary exams in the week of 7 – 11 December.
By default, your Canvas subject will end before this date. This means students will experience issues accessing the subject site and their exam during the supplementary exam period.
What you need to do
You will need to adjust subject session dates in your subject site before Saturday 31 October. Once the end date has passed, you’ll be required to submit a Service Connect ticket to adjust subject session dates and extend access to your Canvas subject.
How to adjust the dates
1. Go to Settings in your subject site
2. Under Course details, go to the area titled “Term”
3. In the box next to “Starts” type the date and time that you want students to start seeing and interacting with the site
4. In the box next to “Ends” type the last date that you want students to be able to interact with the site (recommended: 11 December)
5. Tick the box “Students can only participate in the course between these dates” (this is essential for the dates to take effect)
6. Finally, at the end of the page click the button “Update course details”.
If you have any questions on how to adjust session dates, please contact LX lab for further assistance.
