'I just did what nurses do'
UTS Alumna Grace Jones reflects on the night she stepped in to help save the life of Yellow Wiggle Greg Page.
In the event of an emergency, what would you do?
On January 17, during a sold-out bushfires fundraiser at Castle Hill RSL, Yellow Wiggle Greg Page collapsed. A young off-duty nurse stepped forward to administer life-saving first aid.
A graduate from the Bachelor of Nursing, Grace Jones is reluctant to call herself a hero, but hopes that her actions have inspired others.
“I just hope that what I did for Greg Page inspires people to sign up for first aid training, to learn how to do CPR, and to be confident to step forward in an emergency.”
