ARC-funded Masters/PhD Scholarship Opportunity
This scholarship is an opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team to better understand experiences and trajectories of Aboriginal families of children with a disability, within the socio-cultural and environmental context of Western Sydney. The student will train in social sciences and health services research within a framework of social determinants of health over the life course. The project is a collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Faculty of Health, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Aboriginal Medical Service Western Sydney. This project is funded through an ARC Linkage project grant.
The Masters/PhD student will receive a tax-free stipend ($27,651) per year (full-time) for 3 years (PhD)/2 years (Masters). In addition, while enrolled, the student can undertake one day of paid work per week.
