Our academic staff are PhD qualified sport and exercise scientists, with many working in sports areas to provide a real world context to subjects and research.
We provide expertise and world-leading research in sport and exercise science, health and human performance.
Our research is relevant to the broader community and of immediate practical impact to high performance sports teams, government organisations, schools and health professionals. The Australian Government has ranked our research well above world standard (ERA 5/5).
Our specialised research and teaching labs, staff, students and researchers are located in the centre of sports action in the Moore Park precinct. We share a building with Rugby Australia, and being located in this precinct enables the opportunity to work alongside some of the finest sporting organisations in Australia.
