Sumudu is a promising research professional. She holds a Master of Science degree in Agriculture Engineering from University of Peradeniya. She is skilled in Spatial Analysis, Natural Resources and Agriculture Research and Training. She was awarded as a ‘Promising Scientist in 2017’ by the Department of Agriculture, Sri Lanka for her research contribution to agriculture development. Sumudu’s past experience includes research on GIS & Remote Sensing technology for agriculture and natural resources management, climate change adoption, crop modelling and database handling. She is a PhD student and the recipient of International Research Scholarship for the current course.
