Mamdouh Qahl was born in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, in 1984.
He received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with specialization in Information Systems Management from King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia in 2007. Then he moved to Australia where he received his Master of Information Technology from University of Canberra, Australia, in 2012. He works as an academic lecturer at Jazan University in Saudi Arabia in 2013. At the same time, he worked as Supervisor of the Information Technology Unit at Jazan Community College, Jazan University
As a part of this work, Mamdouh developed Jazan Community College’s website and provided several training sessions for faculty members on university online learning systems. He is currently a PhD student in the School of Information, Systems, and Modelling at the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney.
His PhD research is titled “The Effect of Organizational, Individual, and Technology factors on Saudi Arabian Higher Education Creative Environment” and he is completing this under the supervision of Professor Igor Hawryszkiewycz and Dr Osama Sohaib.
