Connection with industry is deeply embedded in the School’s teaching and learning, research and engagement activities.
Our research excellence is widely recognised in industry, and the School is now home to three Industry Professors who sharpen and promote our external focus. Our team blends academic research expertise with extensive commercial and industrial experience. Researchers regularly undertake research projects directly attached to commercial enterprise and supervise Industry Doctorate Students who are based with industry research partners.
UTS commands an international reputation for producing resilient, industry-ready graduates. Within the School, industry partners co-design and co-deliver practice-based teaching and learning programs at all levels. This industry involvement helps students understand current and future challenges and prepares them well for leading organisational innovation to meet those challenges.
